We’ve been coming to Glenmere for years, and the team always makes our stays wonderful. John, the waitstaff, and the other employees are helpful and add thoughtful touches that make us look forward to returning. We appreciate that many of the same people have worked here for years. On our last visit, they kindly made us a gender reveal cake. It was very special.

We spent three nights at GM in February and will definitely be back. The restaurants were great, with menus that had something for everyone and fresh-baked bread at every meal. The spa, room, food, property, and staff were all wonderful. A special mention for housekeeping: I never saw the crew, but the room was always cleaned and turned down. It’s hard to beat the quality of the stay or how close it is to NYC.

The spa is a highlight, especially the private Turkish hammam, and the food is delicious, with ingredients from nearby farms or their own. We’ve visited Glenmere Mansion for the day and stayed overnight, and each time has left us feeling refreshed and inspired. Tucked into the Hudson Valley about an hour from NYC, this Italian-inspired villa feels like a step into another era. It’s a boutique hotel in Relais & Châteaux, and the reputation feels well earned. The grounds are beautifully kept, the interiors are breathtaking, and the service is exceptional. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all excellent. We can’t wait to return.

I went for dinner during my cousin’s bachelorette and loved it. The china room and the rest of the property are beautiful, the staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food was amazing.
