Aloha Motel

I’ve stayed in this hotel on and off for years, and they’ve definitely updated the rooms. But I felt so unsafe and uncomfortable that I had a panic attack. All night I heard a child screaming, and I’m guessing the mother was threatening someone. It kept sounding like someone was screaming to be roommates. I don’t think you should bring children here. The outside could use a good pressure washing; aside from that, they do try to make your stay comfortable. Business is business, but I’m trying to understand where this came from. This is my honest review.

Aloha Motel was an unforgettable stay for me. The staff were attentive and friendly, and housekeeping did an exceptional job. My room had tasteful decor, a calm feel, a wonderfully comfortable bed, and top-notch amenities. The location was convenient too. I was completely blown away and would highly recommend it for a comfortable, luxurious stay.

The room was in much worse shape than just being a little outdated, and I didn’t feel safe there with my children. People were hanging around outside their rooms and walking through the parking lot. We booked overnight in the only option they had, a king bed, even though their rates are by four-hour blocks or overnight. We stayed about an hour, just long enough to shower, then returned the key to the office and asked for a refund. The attendant refused. I asked at least for the difference between the four-hour rate and overnight since we’d only been there an hour, but they declined that too. This is not family friendly. I only gave one star because I had to.

It’s been a while since I was here, so I was in awe when I visited on Thanksgiving and saw the updated rooms. Nice. I really enjoyed myself, and they’re doing a very good job compared with my first visit. This is my neighborhood getaway when I want to relax. It’s not the Hilton, but I love it.
