The place is old and there’s no elevator, but the hosts do their best to keep it clean. The showers and toilets seemed to stay clean all the time, too. It has a cozy feel, and the house is in a decent location. The breakfast at the house next door was great, with lots of food choices. The hosts were awesome, and I'd stay again :)

I got good value here, and there was a washer and dryer, which was great. I'm not usually a fan of shared common areas, but the bathrooms stayed clean. The location made it easy to get anywhere in the city, and the nightlife on this road is really lively. My end of the building wasn't too loud.

I didn't believe in hauntings before this stay, but I do now. The place felt completely haunted, and at 11pm I left with no idea where I was going, just to get out. The people running it were rude and incompetent, with no sense of hospitality. Unless you're a ghost hunter who enjoys being insulted by bratty innkeepers named Ashley, pay the extra 10 bucks for a real Airbnb. This felt like a creepy last resort.

I had a panic attack after cats were roaming loose in the common areas, away from their owner, and one came right into my room. The owner’s policy clearly says service animals and pets must stay with their owner at all times and may not be left alone on the property, with a fee for any pet left unattended. Allowing this to happen was a direct failure to follow the policy they say they enforce. When I reported it, the owner showed no empathy. They minimized my condition and seemed focused only on getting me to leave quickly. I felt there was no concern for my safety, accountability, or professionalism, just an effort to protect themselves and dismiss what happened. The whole stay was stressful and mishandled, and their response showed me how little they value guests. I would never stay here again.
