I’d never stayed in a hostel before and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was very happy with it. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knew their stuff. They’d always say hello or wish us a good day or night. There’s a big shared space for hanging out, games, entertainment, and cooking, with a light breakfast in the morning. It’s close to the subway and lots of places to eat, and downtown isn’t far. I didn’t try the cafe, though it looked nice. It was also great that they held our bags after checkout so we could explore a bit longer. I’d definitely recommend it for a group.

The bathrooms stayed really clean, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and thorough about what we needed. I loved the empanadas from the cafe, and the neighborhood bars were fun and had a hip feel. The blue line is very close, so getting around town was easy. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The sheets had spots on them, though thankfully I could get a different set. The bathroom was very clean and warm, even though it wasn’t attached directly to the room. For a hostel, I thought the place was pretty decent. The front desk service was excellent, and I was near everything I wanted to see. I liked my stay and would come back.

We picked this place for the good price, the attractions we wanted to visit, and the airport train line. It’s quite a way from the CBD, though, so if most of your plans are in the city center, the travel back and forth might not be worth it. The room was clean and spacious, with a large locker and good lighting. A surface or two to set things on would have helped. My floor had four roomy toilets, and I really missed that space after moving elsewhere in the city center. There’s a supermarket nearby, along with restaurants and other places to eat. The basement kitchen is roomy and well equipped, with a coffee machine and water dispenser. You’ll need to ask reception for a hairdryer. The first-floor stair area had an unpleasant smell, though the other floors were fine. There’s no lift, only stairs, so keep that in mind if you have large suitcases.

The cafe and its empanadas were incredible, and the location was excellent, with everything I needed within a block or two. The rooms are small and don’t have many places to set things down, but I was fine with that. Prices are reasonable, and although the bathrooms are shared, I never had to wait while I was there.
