Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile

We’ve been at the hotel for about three weeks while my dad has been in ICU, and the staff have been attentive to our comfort and needs. They’ve repeatedly tried to find us the lowest rates and have done what they can to accommodate us. Our room is spacious and clean. The only issue is that it runs too warm. The location gives us a nice mix of quiet nights and plenty of restaurants and shopping just a couple of blocks away.

Debbie at the front desk was especially great, though everyone was friendly and welcoming. When I extended my stay, the staff made it easy, and they were very accommodating. The bar and breakfast space are both nice, with more choices than I expected. I heard there's a pool and hot tub on the fourth floor, but didn't get around to using them because I was having too much fun in the city. That's a reason to return. My suite at the Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile had a modern, functional, relaxing layout, and I really liked the room colors and furnishings. The hotel is beautiful, and the rates are very reasonable for the quality. It's close to the Magnificent Mile, and Millennium Park and other downtown sights are an easy walk away. I'll stay here next time I visit Chicago, maybe even New Year's Eve, so I should probably book now. One helpful detail: valet parking is available. When you enter and take the elevator to the second-floor lobby, you'll need to switch to another set of elevators to reach the guest rooms. Highly recommend!

The skywalk to Northwestern Medical made getting back and forth so easy. I didn't have to deal with the weather or street traffic, and that was the biggest convenience. My room had a lovely city view and was spacious enough to relax and unpack, unlike many cramped city hotel rooms. There's a Starbucks on the first floor for a quick morning coffee. Between the amenities and location, I had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Centric and would happily return.

Our room was roomy, spotless, and comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk to Navy Pier, the South Loop, and pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. We were there with family from December 21-24, and the friendly faces and service throughout the hotel impressed us. The breakfast restaurant staff deserve a special shout-out. They were efficient, welcoming, and accommodating, especially with our kids, and made our mornings so much better. If management sees this, please give that team extra recognition. They made a great stay even better.
