Hyatt Regency Chicago

We had a lovely lake view from a room with a modern, clean design, and the hotel's location right on the river was perfect. There are two restaurants and a bar on site, which was really convenient. The front desk staff were very nice, and they offer slippers and other amenities on request, delivered promptly. We'd definitely stay again.

Tresa was the kindest hotel front desk person I've ever met. She went above and beyond and made me feel like an old friend. The whole front desk team is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was in the east tower. The rooms are nice, but neither the bed nor the amount of space will blow you away; still, they're not disappointing. Views depend on the room: some look out over the river or parts of the city, while others face apartments. Big Bar on the second floor is a popular spot to socialize, and I recommend stopping in to see the center tower of spirits. The on-site restaurants are decent, with middle-of-the-road food and very nice, attentive staff. They're handy in a pinch, but there are good restaurants nearby if you have time to explore.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, modern amenities, and an amazing view of the Chicago River and skyline. Dining at the hotel's restaurants was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. From arrival onward, the staff were welcoming, professional, and helpful, and their attention to detail made the stay exceed my expectations. Hyatt Regency Chicago has a perfect downtown location, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The rooms were nice and the location was good. We had great drinks at the bar, which also has an amazing view. But the unexpected $30 "destination fee" was annoying. Getting our car back from valet took over an hour, and the waiting area was packed, with neither Wi-Fi nor decent cell service.
