Level Chicago – Old Town

The apartment-style space worked well for hosting friends, and we still had fun celebrating my husband's birthday. But my first stay at Level Chicago got off to a rough start. The front desk wasn't welcoming, and although I was told early check-in was possible, the room wasn't ready until 4 PM. I could understand the wait if they were cleaning, but the room wasn't clean when we finally got in: chip crumbs were in the bed, the kitchen floor and cabinets were stained, and the sheets were dirty. I'd give the stay 5 out of 10. The layout suits gatherings, but the cleanliness and customer service need serious work. Management should make sure rooms are properly cleaned and guests are treated with more kindness and professionalism.

The skyline from my one-bedroom executive suite was breathtaking, and I'll be back. Donnetta and Josh were incredible, helpful at every step, and made the stay so good I'd book again for their service alone.

We keep coming back to Level when we visit our son in Chicago. The two-bedroom, two-bath unit has a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living and dining space, and the building has great amenities and a coffee shop. It's also well placed for Old Town, Miracle Mile, restaurants, bars, groceries, and just about everything. Donnetta checked us in and helped with something we needed in the room. She was very helpful, friendly, and had a great personality.

Whenever I've needed help at Level Old Town Park, David Feliciano has been quick to show up with a positive attitude. He's respectful, responsive, and gets the job done efficiently and properly the first time. He's one of the best maintenance professionals I've dealt with.
