Breakfast at Venteux was fresh and well done, and the relaxed but refined space made it a lovely start to the day before going out around the city. The hotel itself felt stylish, comfortable, and efficient, with a great location. We'd happily return and recommend it for a family weekend or a couples getaway. We stayed at Pendry Chicago with family this past weekend. The restored Carbide & Carbon Building gives it historic character, while the interiors feel fresh and thoughtfully updated. We arrived earlier than expected and got through early check-in quickly; the front desk was welcoming and we were in our room within minutes. Our corner king suite was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of natural light and a direct view of Millennium Park. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we all slept well. The finishes felt upscale without being overdone, and details like the lighting and bathroom amenities seemed carefully chosen.

The dog bed, bowls, toys, and treats were thoughtful touches, and Chris from valet gave our dog lots of love and a few extra treats. That made the visit especially memorable. We had a wonderful stay at Pendry Chicago with our dog. Everything went smoothly, and we were upgraded to a beautiful room with a great city view. Room service was delicious, and every staff member we met was kind, professional, and accommodating. We'd absolutely come back.

We were welcomed right away by Perry, who took our bags, told us about the hotel and area while we checked in, then brought us up and helped us settle in. We were able to check in a few hours early, and he was one of the best parts of the stay. There was also a complimentary facial using Dr. Few products for guests at the time, plus desserts and bubbly for our romantic trip. Such a thoughtful, delicious treat. We spent four nights here for Valentine's and it was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are incredibly cozy, and the staff are welcoming and attentive. We'd go back anytime, even tonight. 10/10.

Venteux was pretty good, with solid food, generous portions, and good value. The gym is well equipped, though there's no restroom on that same floor. The room was comfortable, and the body wash smelled lovely. I didn't see any slippers, which would've been nice. Pendry Chicago's lobby was buzzing but still felt cozy and welcoming. They offered complimentary drinks, and the jasmine tea was tasty. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Muriel at the front desk was especially welcoming and cool, and went out of her way to upgrade me to a deluxe suite. That made the stay feel special. It was a solid luxury experience in a prime location, and I'd return. Thanks to Muriel for making it memorable!

The location was super convenient. We could get there from the airport on public transit and walk to lots of places, including The Bean. The breakfast cafe was delicious, and we loved the scent of the hand wash and lotion. Our room was a good size, and they accommodated an early check-in. We used the Chase Sapphire benefits and had a wonderful stay. We'll definitely come back!
