Ray's Bucktown B&B

The breakfast was my favorite part. I had a delicious Mediterranean omelet, and they seemed to use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. The staff were wonderful, the beds comfortable, and the spa was relaxing. They also have safe parking, which is hard to find in a city. It felt like a free art gallery combined with a lovely B&B, and I like supporting a small business. The area looked very walkable, and I hope to explore it when the weather gets warmer. This is the best place I’ve stayed in Chicago, and it’ll be my choice when I visit from now on. Thank you, Ashlee, for making our trip so special and comfortable.

The managers, Ashlee and Kat, were so kind, and the whole place feels welcoming and community-minded. We stayed two nights with our dog and loved how cozy and thoughtfully organized everything was. Breakfast was the best I’ve had at a B&B, and the sauna and steam room were especially nice in winter. We can’t wait to come back.

I liked that Rays could feel communal when you wanted, while still offering privacy. I stayed three nights and would definitely recommend it. The breakfast was great, and the location worked well for me. The private-bathroom rooms were clean and cozy, and the private sauna and steam room were tidy and easy to use. No complaints!

The neighborhood felt safe, was easy to find, and made a nice setting for our girls’ weekend. We’d happily stay here again and recommend it to friends. Our room was lovely and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was the real highlight each morning, with fresh-squeezed orange juice, pastries, stuffed French toast options, crispy bacon, and more. So good!
