Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites Hotel

My stays with Marriott Partners across North America have never disappointed, and this was another pleasant one. The staff here were very nice and helpful, especially Sharon and Steven, who gave wonderful service. I do wish it were easier and faster to reach room service, since reception is always busy.

A delayed plane caused me to miss my connection home, but I’m glad to say the stay here was comfortable and accommodating. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The shuttle driver was helpful, the desk staff were terrific, and the service overall was impeccable. Dinner at the restaurant was tasty, and Becky, my waitress, was amazing. She treated me like a queen on holiday and made sure I had everything I needed, so I forgot I was a tired traveler. When I’m in Chicago again, the Renaissance will be my hotel of choice.

The staff took great care of me when flight cancellations left me stuck in Chicago for an extra night. I was glad to have a bed, a roof, and a really useful shuttle. The rooms were surprisingly clean, but the hotel feels dated, with furniture that looks like it came from three different decades. Based on my quick, panicked research, it may be the best choice near O’Hare, but that’s a sample size of one, so you can check me on it. If I hadn’t had a super early flight the next morning, I would have looked for somewhere in the city instead.

This hotel is a good option for the area, close to the airport and right by the Blue Line Train to downtown. There’s also an airport shuttle, and the rooms are nice with good-looking facilities. I was especially impressed by the front desk service. Shae and Kayla helped me separately, and both were professional, positive, and personable. The manager is doing something right to have found two gems!
