The Publishing House B&B

We stayed in the Everleigh, and it was gorgeous. It even came with lovely soaking salts for the bath. The rooms and shared areas were very clean, quiet, and peaceful, with plenty of comfortable common space. Breakfast was incredible, and the staff were kind and wonderfully helpful. The decor is beautiful, and the location is great for West Loop shopping, coffee, and food. Parking was easy and close since we drove, and it’s a quick Uber ride to the Mile or United Center. We’ll definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone. Stay here!

Breakfast was made to order, fresh, and delicious. We also recommend Aba and the Press Room in the basement for a great cocktail. We booked PHB&B for my UIC graduation, and it was exactly what I wanted: space to relax close to all my activities. Our Everleigh room was spacious and gorgeous, with an incredibly comfortable bed and an immaculate, roomy clawfoot tub we enjoyed soaking in. We hope to come back, and when we do, we’ll stay at PHB&B again.

The whole room was thoughtfully designed, from the bathroom tile to the automated roller shades, and the accommodations felt gorgeous and luxurious. The common areas are welcoming, breakfast is delicious, and the staff are friendly. Remote check-in was easy, with clear instructions by email. For this kind of boutique hotel stay, I would have expected to pay much more. Highly recommend!

My first B&B experience was at Publishing House, and it set a very high bar. I stayed in the Cisneros room, which was spacious, bright, and well designed. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom amenities were great, and the floors were heated. The room was cleaned daily and the service was excellent. If I missed breakfast, they’d leave me a message, and the owner was quick to answer any questions about my stay. Ten stars all around!
