Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chickasha

Parking is plentiful, but two vehicles seem to sit in front of the hotel all the time instead of using the spaces. That blocks the drive-through area and turns what should be four lanes into two, creating an unnecessary bottleneck. The tap water tastes awful, though colleagues and what I found online suggest that's a Chickasha issue rather than a hotel one. Even with those annoyances, I like the place and stay here whenever I'm working nearby. It's a typical Fairfield, in line with the brand, so frequent Fairfield guests will know what to expect. The staff are very friendly, it's close to restaurants and Wal-Mart, and bottled water is available downstairs. Water pressure and temperature are great. Guest laundry machines take cards, so there's no need for quarters. Breakfast starts as early as 4 a.m. while the oil field workers are around, which is handy since I usually leave for work before breakfast would normally begin. Housekeeping also comes daily or close to it, even for longer stays, which I appreciate given that many hotels stopped daily service after the COVID days.

The room was decent but a little drab. Our queen room had two beds and a standard tub with a curtain, no glass shower doors. Parking is tight in a small lot. Getting to the hotel is a bit tricky because of the one-way street.

The breakfast was tasty and included in the price, and there's a laundry room too. They also have a nice little workout room. I'm very picky about hotels, but these rooms were clean and really nice, so I'd recommend this one.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly.
