Broad River Inn

The room was even more breathtaking than it looked online, and breakfast each morning was award winning. When we pulled up beside the beautiful Broad River Inn, the smell of pizza greeted us. The lobby was warmly decorated, and check-in was easy. The young woman who welcomed us showed us to our room and explained everything on the way. We really needed a getaway, and Broad River Inn delivered. I’d give it six stars. Highly recommend a short visit, you won’t be disappointed. We’ll return!

The river view from our upstairs room’s large deck was beautiful, with Chimney Rock in sight. The room was spacious and extremely clean, and each morning Kristin prepared a delicious breakfast in the dining room, taking time to visit every table and even ask what I’d like the next day. My husband and I had two very enjoyable nights at Broad River Inn. Kristin and her staff were accommodating and gave us great ideas for things to do nearby. I’d highly recommend this charming inn, and try the pizza at the Stage Coach Restaurant.

On our second three-day visit, we enjoyed the place even more than we did in 2020. The room looked lovely, the breakfasts were delicious, and the beds were still just as comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and we had pizza and wine or beer at the on-premises Stagecoach Saloon. We’d been saying since our first stay that we’d come back to Broad River Inn. We’ll return again next time we’re in the area.

We’re already planning to book again next year. This was our first stay here, and it was the most relaxing Chimney Rock getaway my wife and I have had in the few years we’ve been visiting. The suite was clean and tidy, and the inn itself is charming and quiet. We loved sitting on the private deck in the morning and evening, listening to the river and looking up at Chimney Rock Park. Everything is close by, about a five-minute walk at most, and the dedicated guest parking meant we didn’t have to deal with peak-time crowds when driving back. Breakfast each morning was amazing, thoughtfully made, and different enough that it was fun to see what was coming. We met the friendly owners and had some good conversations. We ate at the restaurant twice because the pizzas were so good. I can’t say enough good things about the stay.
