Super 8 by Wyndham Chisago City

The room turned out to be one of the smaller ones. We picked the economy option, and if I'd known it was barely bigger than the bed, I might have considered something else. At least there was a desk and fridge. We were here about four days to see family, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but tasty: English muffins, bread, Wuaker instant oatmeal, waffles, plus frozen eggs and sausage patties to heat in the microwave. We liked making sausage and egg muffin sandwiches each morning. A few slices of cheese on offer would have rounded them out. We'll be back in the area and stay here again.

The free parking was ample, and the Wi-Fi worked reliably, which made getting around for my trip easy. I slept well in a surprisingly comfortable bed, and the King room was spotless and completely quiet. Ray and Pam at the front desk were especially helpful and friendly, and check-in was quick. Super 8 by Wyndham Chisago City really beat what I usually expect from this brand. It gets the basics right and feels like a hidden gem in the Chisago Lakes area. For the price, it's a peaceful, good-value base for business or leisure, and I'd gladly recommend it.

Pam was warm and accommodating, and the other guests were friendly and helpful too. My wife, mother-in-law, and I stayed here on our trip. If you're nearby, give it a try. Sincerely, the Parkers from KS.

The managers were approachable and clearly wanted guests to be comfortable. They pointed out which nearby restaurants offered discounts and which ones they liked best when we asked. Later, Dhara brought me an extra blanket right away. The room was clean, the linens fresh, and breakfast had plenty stocked. Check-in was quick and easy. It's an older motel, but they did what they could to make our visit pleasant. I'd stay here again.
