Our room was on the first floor, and noise from upstairs kept waking us. We could clearly hear people dragging their luggage around during the day and at night. I'd suggest asking for a higher-floor room if you want it quieter. The hotel was clean, and the bedding smelled pleasant and freshly washed. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise and added good value. I'd still recommend staying here.

Clean room right off the highway, fine for an overnight stop, though it wasn't cheap. There were only two beds in the small room, with no chairs or desk. For a snack or lunch, we had to use the common lounge.

Everything is within an easy walk, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby and room felt outdated, and there was a distinct unpleasant smell when I first walked in. Still, everything was clean, put together, and had the essentials, along with brochures about local amenities. The sink water never got warm, but the shower was nice and warm. The floors creaked as I walked, and at night I worried about disturbing the guests below. There's food for guests here, too. It was quiet, clean, and well located, a good option for a last-minute stay, families, or tourists. The place could use some remodeling, but I found it friendly overall.

We're on a two-month road trip from Nevada to Alaska and back, staying in hotels along the way. I read a lot of reviews and try to save money, so I chose Glacier Hotel because it was more moderately priced than some other hotels in town. The room was a decent size and had the usual basics: TV, microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, and screened windows, which matter. Breakfast was better than average, with options for everyone. The water pressure was incredible, the shower got nice and hot, and the central location made it easy to walk most places. No frills, and this older property does show its age. The young man who checked us in was outstanding. I think his name was Jamar. He was personable, helpful, and professional. When our TV remote was missing, he went above and beyond to find one. A couple of downsides: there’s no elevator, and although it’s only two stories, an overpacker’s Trophy Husband might be grumpy after hauling everything upstairs. There’s no AC, so make use of the windows. Our travel tip: we splurged on a Venty fan (portable, compact, rechargeable oscillating fan, on Amazon), and it’s saved the trip since very few places have, or need, AC. This fan is easy to recommend, especially here. An eye mask, ear plugs, and/or a sound machine app can help drown out late arrivals who don’t realize how late it is during the busy summer travel season.

Breakfast was a real bonus, with more than the usual basic continental spread. The front desk staff also sorted out a small problem right away. For what we paid, this place was much more affordable than many others.
