For a place about 12 miles from downtown San Diego, this worked well for us. After spending the day out, we mainly needed somewhere to sleep and shower, and the free parking was a nice plus. The building looks dated from outside, but our room was clean and updated. We could hear people in the rooms beside and above us, so noise-sensitive guests may notice that. For the price and location, I’d recommend it.

The room was clean and surprisingly roomy, though the hotel itself feels a bit old. Breakfast was very basic, and I didn't use the pool. The staff were friendly and glad to help.

Getting to downtown San Diego and Seaport Village was easy from here, and the price was reasonable. The room was clean, with no insects or smoke smell, and the staff were polite and professional. This is a plain, outdated hotel, and the main road right outside brought steady traffic noise. The shower pressure was very low, and the toilet leaked. Breakfast was included, but the hot buffet was only mediocre. If you want a clean, basic place without fancy extras, the value is in line with the price and you get what you pay for.

I left something behind and was able to come back for it because they had kept it for me, which was such a relief. The staff were friendly and professional, and the breakfast was unbeatable. This is the place to stay. Huge kudos, highly recommend!

We’ll definitely book this inn again when we head to Tijuana. The room was very clean, breakfast was really good, and the staff were so friendly.
