Chula Vista Inn

The front desk employee was polite, and at least there's an elevator instead of stairs only, though it gave a sudden, scary shake. The pool has been closed for six months. Paint was put over water damage, and the bathtub wasn't clean. There was pubic hair on the tub and mat, so the mat hadn't been disinfected. We got just one small bar of soap and no extra toilet paper. The shower curtain was also an issue. A little lipstick on a pig doesn't change what it is. Hester works.

I left early and was still charged for the full stay, with my deposit kept. The pool had been closed by the health department, with a ☢️ sign on the door. Staff were uptight and rude. This was my second stay, and the rooms were neglected both times: first the coffin drawer wouldn't open, then almost every drawer was broken and coming off its rail. I won't stay here again or recommend it.

The location is peaceful, and the rooms are excellent. Service was alright, though the place could use a few small upgrades. The pool and Jacuzzi were locked, with a warning sign from the Department of environmental health and quality saying pool activity must stop.

Dear Chula Vista Inn, I was disappointed by the customer service I received. It took seven calls before someone answered. When I politely asked whether I had a reservation, the representative said no right away without checking or trying to verify it. I asked for her name, still politely, and she hung up abruptly. That was frustrating and unprofessional. I value good service and hope you take this seriously and improve customer support. Please look into what happened and respond to me.
