Stephanie at the front desk was so welcoming. As my kids and I headed to the pool, she walked us in with fresh towels before we even had to ask. The staff were above and beyond great. We stayed last weekend with the family and had a very enjoyable time. We loved both breakfast and the pool. We’ll be back!

I gave the hotel another shot for my birthday and booked two nights after calling ahead to check that the hot tub was working and turned on. They said it was, but it was cold and clearly out of service when I arrived. The hot water in my room’s shower wasn’t working either. I raised it at the front desk, and the worker offered to refund the stay I’d booked. I thanked her, left, and booked somewhere else. It’s been 17 days and more than seven calls to the hotel, and I still haven’t received that refund. Before that visit, I’d booked a room and called to say I’d arrive late. They said that was fine, but when I got there, the desk said I’d been marked as a no-show and had to book another room. They said they’d wipe the no-show fee, but never did. I was charged twice for a single night’s stay. This hotel is a joke. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I ended up with 45 minutes to pack and get out, with no time to shower, after Stephanie told me the sheriff would be called if I wasn’t gone by 1 p.m. She talked over me, called me a liar, and was extremely rude. I was trying to explain that the remotes weren’t working, even after he brought me two different sets. I also tried to tell her that the young man had first sent me to the wrong room, which was occupied, so I opened someone’s door while they were sleeping. She just told me to leave. I’ve never been treated that rudely in a hotel, and I’m still flabbergasted by her attitude. I’d probably have stayed five days total because the young man was so nice, but I’ll never come back, and her boss should fire her. The place is shabby, too. At 3 a.m. I called ahead and asked if I’d need to leave in the morning or the next day. The young man, I guess Cameron, told me I could stay until Wednesday morning for the cost of one night because it was so late. I said that was perfect since I planned to sleep in all day, and he said I could use the hot tub until 10 p.m. the next night. But at noon Tuesday, after I took my dogs out to pee, Stephanie told me I had to be out by 1. That wasn’t what I’d been told on the phone or at check-in.

We were locked out of our room twice during our two-night stay. The first time was the morning we went down for breakfast, and I was stuck outside with my 4-year-old. The desk was unattended for more than 45 minutes. The second time, it took a long while for anyone to show up again while I stood there yelling, “Hello, anyone work here?” with all my kids’ birthday presents. When the worker finally came the first morning, she was rude and disrespectful and wouldn’t tell me her name. I also hadn’t been told the hot tub was down. The tub in our room was dirty and there was someone else’s trash on the floor. The room and service were horrible. This place needs to be shut down.
