Pam and Gary make you feel at home, and the homemade food is delicious. They’re also great about accommodating allergies. There was always good company, conversation, and plenty of laughs. I stayed at Clam Gulch Lodge this fall on the Steelhead Sirens trip, and found it charming, cozy, and comfortable. Each spacious room has its own salmon theme, which was so cool. The ocean and coastal mountain views are incredible. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

The lodge has one of the best views around, and the comfortable rooms help make it feel like home. I’ve stayed with Pam and Gary several times, and every visit has been wonderful. They’re thoughtful, personable, and incredibly gracious. I love chatting with them over their fantastic home cooking. They handled all our food allergies so well, and they make the BEST clam dip! I highly recommend staying here.

Gary gave us great tips for exploring the Kenai Peninsula and arranged a terrific float plane trip to Wolverine Creek. We also shared a dinner of halibut, salmon, and razor clams, then went down to Clam Gulch beach for sunset. We started our Alaska vacation at Clam Gulch Lodge and had a wonderful time. Gary and Pam were warm and welcoming. We arrived as guests and left feeling like family. That kind of personal attention makes the place stand out.

Gary and Pam arranged an incredible fly-in for bear viewing, photos, and fishing, along with the fishing excursions we enjoyed. The hospitality was warm, the staff were fantastic, and the lodge had breathtaking views. Our stay at Clam Gulch Lodge was unforgettable. If you want memorable Alaska experiences and great hospitality, this is the place.

The oceanfront view was spectacular, and we spotted Mount Redoubt, Iliamna, and Spur. We also liked the cozy rooms and their hand-painted headboards, plus the delicious breakfast each morning. The Lodge sits between Homer and Soldotna, making it a good base for exploring the Kenai Peninsula, with beaches and trails nearby. Gary and Pam provided friendly service and a peaceful stay tailored to us. We’ll definitely come back! - Ever and Keith :)
