We found the room clean, and the staff were so polite and helpful. Charlotte was especially thoughtful, sharing lots of information before we even asked, including tips about local restaurants. We were also glad to find smoking rooms, which are hard to come by these days. I'd definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel for our December 30 stop after hauling our 26-foot camper for eight hours, with another 4.5 to 5.5 hours of driving planned the next day. The parking setup wasn't great, but we could park there. The grounds were clean and well lit, our room was tidy and well insulated, and there was no weed smell. I was ready to make this our regular stop, and planned to book for the return trip on January 6 and for two nights on a March trip. That's all off now. We'll avoid this place, and maybe the whole brand. We paid for the room through the 11 a.m. checkout and put up the Do Not Disturb sign. Even so, we were interrupted five times, aside from a leaf blower that I believe was another attempt to get us moving. Housekeeping knocked and tried the door around 8:45 while we were asleep. Luckily, the bolt was on. She came back twice more with the sign still up. The front desk called our room, then immediately called my cell when I didn't answer, urging us to leave early because of where we were parked. We had parked exactly where hotel staff told us to. On the fourth housekeeping visit, someone entered before we'd fully left, so there wasn't a proper final walkthrough. Once we reached our next stop, we noticed an item missing. It was part of a Christmas gift from my daughter. We called twice, including about five hours after departure, but it should have gone to lost and found. I believe an angry staff member kept it because they couldn't start rounds early. A clean room doesn't make up for this lack of service or for keeping something that should have been returned. Friendly staff, a quiet, peaceful setting, and a clean room. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good and plentiful, and there was a small fee for our two dogs.

We stopped here for a night on the way from Kentucky to Gulf Shores. The front desk attendant was really nice, breakfast had lots of choices, and the hotel was clean. It's an older place, more like a motel, with outside doors and stairwells. Our first room had a TV that wouldn't turn off or lower its volume, so we moved. The replacement room was spacious and had two sinks, though the tub faucet dripped constantly and we couldn't stop it. It didn't keep us up. The place could use some updating, but it worked fine for a night's sleep on the way to the beach.
