Check the room carefully. I found dead flies in both the room and bathroom, though the water pressure was good. The breakfast was really something, and not worth paying for. The corridor carpet may look refurbished, but the doors certainly don’t. I was lucky to be there just one night. Don’t be swayed by the reviews. For the price, you might do better paying a little more for a better hotel, and sometimes another place costs the same or less for better quality. If you’re exhausted and don’t care, you could probably stay here. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

The rooms seem to have been remodeled recently, and the bathroom was great. But being so close to I-80 means there’s a lot of road noise at night. They’re converting the hotel to “Spark by Hilton,” and the breakfast was the saddest I’ve had at a hotel. There were two kinds of bagels, but even after five minutes on the highest setting the toasters hadn’t toasted them. Cream cheese labeled for refrigeration was left out. The waffle batter was so jammed up that getting enough for half a waffle took five minutes. The coffee wasn’t labeled, and the juice machine gave out only water when I selected apple juice. C’mon, Hilton. Put $200 into breakfast and add a mini fridge for yogurt or something else. Calling this breakfast is just wrong.

The staff were mostly friendly, though we had a few small issues. The water from the machine tasted like it was full of chlorine. Our room was extremely dirty. There was hair all over the bathroom floor and in the tub, and the toilet paper roll had already been used. It was so late that we didn’t want to argue or ask for another room. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you don’t want to fight for a decent room. 1/10, do NOT stay here.

Breakfast choices were very limited, and the waffle irons were set so hot they burned the waffles before the timer went off. I found a dead cockroach in the room and a toy left by a previous guest. The bathroom was very dirty, its door wouldn’t close, and there weren’t enough towels or washcloths for three adults over five days. They left one bar of soap, one tiny shampoo, and one tiny conditioner. There was no bedding for the sofa bed, so we had to fetch it from the desk. We’d paid in advance for five days and couldn’t get a refund to go elsewhere. Within a couple of steps into the first room, we saw how dirty the hide-a-bed sofa was, took photos, and went straight to the front desk. The clerk apologized and gave us another room. That one was very dirty too. Before we could say anything downstairs, he handed us a key to a third room, explaining that we couldn’t stay in room two for five days. We checked room three and found stains all over the sofa again. The bed height was broken or warped, so it sloped down and we had to sleep with our heads at the foot to avoid blood rushing to our heads. Cleanliness clearly isn’t a priority. I also took photos of the dirt, but apparently they blocked them from being shown. I won’t return and don’t recommend this location.
