The staff are attentive and pleasant, and the whole place has that country charm. It’s an older resort, but it has what you need for a mountain getaway. The pace is slow and peaceful, with enough activities if you want a fairly quiet vacation.

The beds were really comfortable, and I liked the room when I came to meet up with family last month. We had fun with the miniature golf, too. The pool was especially nice at night. I’ll be back!

Check-in was simple, and the rooms felt roomy and nice. The grounds are generally well kept, though the disc golf course is an exception. It’s mostly short throws over open fields, so don’t expect much of a challenge. For a casual family game with kids, though, it could work well.

The team made us feel welcome from the start, and Fallon was especially sweet. We had a picnic up on the hill on Easter Sunday and made some great memories. They also kept trying to get a fire going for us so we could roast marshmallows on a misty night, and really went out of their way to make the stay special. The mini golf course is beautiful, and we had a lovely time watching a movie in the adorable little theater with the complimentary hot popcorn. We’ll definitely come back. While we were there, we visited Anna Ruby falls Helen Georgia Tacoma College falls Fire fox.

The rooms are great, with a wonderful kitchen and nice bathrooms. We’ve only just arrived, so we haven’t tried the many amenities yet. The staff offered to help carry our bags up to the third floor, which was kind, but we decided to manage on our own. With no elevator and only stairs, hauling all our bags was tough. The room location and stairs are why I’m giving four stars. Whoever planned that setup should rethink the design.
