The bathrooms and rooms were super clean, and the owners were friendly, accommodating folks. We enjoyed our first stay at the Hostel in Clarksdale while passing through on one of our Delta hunting trips. There’s live music downstairs, though, and it got pretty loud. I knew there’d be a crowd, but didn’t realize music on weekends was expected until it started. It might help to mention that on y’all’s website. The owners did turn off the speaker right outside our bedroom, which I appreciated. One other surprise: the bed came with a mattress cover, sheet, and comforter, but we had to put the sheet on ourselves. Still, it was a good stay, and we’d probably come back. Thanks!

Clarksdale is a place we love. So far we’ve stayed at Delta Digs and Hooker Hotel, and both have been amazing.

Lucy, the owner, was really friendly and gave us great tips on where to catch live music. Hostel Auberge is gorgeous, and we were very comfortable there. We had an amazing stay and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks, Murray and Laura.

Robert and Lucy made us feel at home, sending detailed arrival instructions and checking that we had everything we needed. We also had some engaging conversations with them, which added another dimension to the stay. The hostel is thoughtfully put together, from the wooden tables and plots to the door handles, room layout, and showers. It’s a short walk to everything, though downtown Clarksdale is pretty small. The common area where gigs happen has good acoustics, and there’s ample street parking right next to the building.

There’s a downstairs gathering space with a shared kitchen people can use to save money. The place has a great vibe and location, and the price was reasonable. The shared bathrooms were very clean, easy to get to, and close to all the rooms.
