The staff were quick and friendly, and the room was fairly clean and quiet. But that mattress was awful, I could feel the springs through it. When I brought it up the next day, the woman told me to ask for a soft bed next time. I'd rather see that sad mattress replaced with comfortable beds in every room. I might stay again if the bed were softer.

For four decades, this place has felt like a home away from home when I came to work there or go fishing. I can't recall a bad visit. The employees are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and the beds and bedding have always been good. The in-house restaurant was consistently good, sometimes excellent.

I've been coming here almost every week for two nights at a time, for more than five years. The best hotel in the valley, hands down. The people here make it feel like home and really seem to care about their customers. I'd absolutely recommend it.

After I realized I'd left an electronic device in my room, housekeeping checked promptly. They called back to say they'd found it and would ship it soon. It arrived from the hotel today, and I'm so grateful to the staff who recovered it. My wife and I stayed here before our American Cruise Lines trip and Hells Canyon Jet Boat cruise. The place was clean and conveniently located, with staff who communicated well and responded quickly. It's a lovely setting, with an outdoor patio and seating area near a driving range and a riverside walking trail. Consider staying here if you're in the area.
