I got really sick after spending just one night in this room, and I’ve filed a complaint with the local Health and Safety department about the mold. The bathroom walls were covered in black mold, and there was blood spatter on one wall. The room was dirty; the microwave didn’t work, the fridge was extremely loud, and the heater kept us awake until we turned it off to get some sleep. The tub and shower dripped constantly. I’d never had trouble staying at Motel 6 before this trip. This place was far too expensive for such a dump, and I hope they take better care of it.

The front desk understood why we felt uneasy and unsafe, but we saw the room in person and left without staying. They still charged us for one night. There were dead spiders in the tub, and my cats weren’t happy either. Don't be fooled by the photos. Make sure you can see the room before checking in.

The price was far too high for such a rundown place, and the photos gave us the wrong idea. My husband, our newborn, our two-year-old, and I had an awful experience as soon as we got there. The room was filthy, with dust everywhere, mold, cockroaches, and bedbugs. The sheets were stained with blood. The air conditioning didn’t work and smelled terrible, and the mold triggered an asthma attack for me. I don’t understand how the state approves this or why health authorities haven’t stepped in.

The service was terrible, and the place itself is in pretty deplorable shape. If you can spend $15 more for a night elsewhere, don't think twice.

After 11 hours in the car, all we wanted was a clean room for the night. The microwave and mini fridge worked well, and the front desk quickly took care of the dirty pillow and missing hairdryer. But the bathroom floor was very dirty, and its tiles were in poor repair. The ice machine was broken, and the rusty metal steps felt dangerous. If you want coffee in the room, bring instant. Motel 6 locations vary, and this one wasn't a good one.
