La Motel

We were driving across the country and needed somewhere with space for our truck and trailer. This little motel is right off the freeway, and the owners were really kind and accommodating. They welcomed our dog without trying to charge us an unreasonable extra fee, and the price was great. It’s a quiet, pretty town, and the motel was just right for a shower and a decent night’s sleep. I’d stay again if I’m ever back this way.

The staff at the L.A. Motel were so friendly, and check-in took hardly any time. The Wi-Fi worked well, the room was spotless, and the bed was more comfortable than I expected. It’s affordable and reliable, with a bit of quirky charm. It isn’t the Ritz, and doesn’t pretend to be. I’d recommend it and come back for another good night’s sleep if I’m passing through Claude, Texas.

After my truck broke down, it was towed to Claude for repairs. The mechanic kept it there well past checkout time, but Breanna was understanding and let me stay in my room without charging extra. Her husband Marvin even offered to drive me to get food or go to the store. Small-town values are still alive here. Thanks, guys. I’d stay again if I’m ever in the area.

I was here for work for a while. The owners are friendly, and the rooms are decent for the price. They’ve just improved the internet, which is good.
