Super 8 Clawson/troy/detroit Area

This was a ridiculous experience. They gave my room to someone else, then after I stood at the desk for an hour they offered me another room. I walked in and found a man already in it, and learned it was the second time someone had entered his room that day. Nobody offered anything for the trouble. I wouldn't recommend staying here. It's a joke. If I could, I'd give it zero stars. I've never had anything like this happen at a hotel.

The location is good, but the place is misleading and the cleanliness is a serious problem. We get bed bugs here all the time, and even a housekeeper told me she was scared. I keep asking for housekeeping and still don't get service. The only English-speaking housekeeper told me they focus more on rooms where guests are checking out. Meanwhile, the staff outside my door are on their phones, talking, singing, dancing, and even filming. I've seen and heard this as they pass my room, and when I've needed to speak with them. It feels like a party right outside the door, and the noise has woken and disturbed me. The rooms aren't kept clean or healthy. I stay here often, and it keeps getting worse. I'm not someone who usually complains or leaves reviews, but I'm fed up and disappointed. When you walk in, you'd expect professionalism, yet there's a new person who seems unable to spell or do simple math. The priority given to cleanliness feels very low and disrespectful. Also, watch out for George, who lives here. They let him into other guests' rooms to fix things, which doesn't feel safe. Believe me, I hear and see everything.

After years of staying at comfort inn detroit Troy, I'm going to choose a different hotel next year. The rooms have gone downhill, and I had to clean the bathroom myself before using it. I hate to make the change, but that's life.

The location was great and the staff were friendly, but our room needed attention. The carpet felt soggy, and the remote was under the bed with something sticky on it. In the bathroom, the previous guest's leftovers were in the toilet, and there was hair and toothpaste all over the shower and floor. The whole bathroom had been missed. We stayed four days. From outside the place looks updated, but the room was dirty. Someone needs to check rooms more carefully before guests arrive.
