That breakfast is hard to beat, and the sauna and jacuzzi bath in the Heather Suite made for a really relaxing stay. My wife and I have been back several times, and Butch and Shirley somehow make each visit even more enjoyable. They're wonderful hosts and owners. We keep recommending the Montgomery Mansion for a relaxing overnight getaway with good entertainment and an excellent breakfast.

We only had one night at the Montgomery Mansion Bed and Breakfast, and left wishing we'd had longer to enjoy the beautiful place and spend time with the lovely hosts. Shirley's cooking was fantastic, she ought to have her own catering business! It's such a one of a kind experience. We'll definitely be back! :)

Butch and Shirley made us feel like friends they were happy to see again, even though we'd never met. They went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable, and their love for the house really comes through. You can tell they enjoy sharing the beautiful historical time capsule that is the Montgomery Mansion. The home itself feels almost like a fairy tale. Its generations of owners have added thoughtful touches over time, giving it a character that goes beyond its beauty. The custom woodwork, vintage lights, mirrors, carpets, and stained glass feel both charming and classy. Everything is cozy and warm without being showy. The next morning's coffee, scratch made french toast, and frittata were a perfect finish. We enjoyed the place and the hosts so much that we're already looking for an excuse to return.

The shower in our room was the original one from 1870, which was such a cool and unusual detail. Butch and Shirley's mansion is stunning, and we had just as much fun chatting with them as looking around the ornate, beautiful home. They're among the friendliest, most welcoming hosts we've met. We'd highly recommend a stay and hope to make it back someday.

We stayed in the Holly room, which had its own bathroom, and that copper clawfoot tub was amazing. They provided bathing items, and the home cooked breakfast was a nice touch. The owners are two of the nicest people I've met, and the house has a great story. It's romantic and beautiful, with woodwork and decor that's hard to describe. The area felt safe, and parking was available in the driveway or on the street in front of the home. It was a truly unique experience. The bed and breakfast is up for sale right now, but if it stays a bed and breakfast, I'll return!
