The first woman who cleaned my room was amazing, but the cleaner on the second day wasn't. We were staying there for a family hotel Christmas because it was halfway for everyone. We took all our trash to the dumpster and cleaned up the room well. My son fell asleep writing a letter to Santa with a washable marker, and it left a stain on the bedding. The manager tried to charge my card more than $600 on checkout day without warning. When I called, he said the bedding was ruined and I had to pay. I asked whether they had a laundry facility, since I couldn't understand why they'd charge me $600 before even washing the blanket. He said he'd call after laundering it, but I never heard another word from anyone.

The room was clean, the staff friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast was better than I expected. For the price it was great, though the hot water didn't work in the morning.

We were glad our pups could stay, but the pet fee felt ridiculous, especially since there weren't any bins for poo bags. The lawn also had a pesticide warning, which seems stupid for a pet-friendly hotel. We stayed Saturday night, and the place was not clean: dust and cobwebs by the entry, dirty baseboards, litter around the outside entrances, and rugs that looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in days. Our room had no shower curtain and just one bath towel. The price was too high for what we got.

The manager was nice, but the room had hair on the back of the sink faucet. Gross. The thermostat controls were unlike any I'd used before: when I lowered the setting to sleep, the AC came on, and it took me a while to figure out how it worked. The unit was very noisy, and a small industrial site next door rumbled all night too.

The rooms were clean and decent for the price, and I didn't notice noise issues. Breakfast is one to skip. There's no elevator, so that may be a problem for some, especially since all the king beds are upstairs.
