I’m the owner, and I’m sorry our check-in left you feeling uneasy. Feeling secure matters, especially for people traveling alone or on business, and we didn’t provide the human presence you expected that night. We’re reviewing our front-desk procedures so guests feel attended to and safe when they arrive. Though the desk can look empty, I’m often in the office right behind it. I monitor security cameras covering the property from there. We also keep in close contact with the local police department, which is nearby and checks in or calls regularly. During busy periods, we use self check-in, and staff watch the monitors during that process to make sure only the right guests can access their information. We appreciate your business and hope you’ll give us another chance to make your stay more comfortable.

After a stressful drive through the snow, we slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds. The room was clean, and the bath towels were large, more than I can say for a lot of hotels. Breakfast was a nice surprise too, with good choices and a roomy dining area. Thank you!

The room was clean and had no odd smells at all, the best smelling room I’ve had at this price. My one request is to add lamps to the nightstands between the beds. The only light in the room, apart from the bathroom, was overhead, which was really annoying, especially since the other switch is on the wall above the TV cabinet. Still giving it five stars because the room wasn't smelly or gross.

A pretty good hotel for the money, especially compared with nearby motels. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff very polite. It felt really safe too.

Everything in the room looked and smelled clean, with no stains on the sheets or towels. The water pressure and temperature were good as well. We didn't have a microwave or fridge, though, so there was nowhere to keep drinks or heat up food. Still, I'd recommend it.
