Pier 60 is right nearby, and everything is walkable. The strip is less than 10 feet away. The huge pool is much bigger than the online photos suggest, with music playing and a cute Tiki Bar on the beach. The sand is amazing, and customer service was excellent. The hotel is also very family friendly, with free activities like beach yoga and kayaking. We had a minor issue with the room AC, which can happen, but staff fixed it right away and immediately moved us to an upgraded room. You'll be taken care of here. It's a great place to book.

We had an amazing time here with my daughter and family. Lena and the rest of the staff were wonderful, and I'd come back for the location and people alone. The pools are amazing, and having beach access is worth it by itself. The rooms are small and a little outdated for a Hilton, but the hotel's been there a long time, so I can see that expanding the rooms wouldn't be a top priority. We were there during the so-called “teen takeover,” which was a nightmare, but management and the on-site staff handled it really well and made us feel safe. The rooms could use more maintenance and deep cleaning, but overall we had a lovely time.

Rushi the supervisor was the highlight of our stay. I saw him at the pool fixing uneven tiles, taking photos, and making sure things were handled. He clearly cares and works hard. The hotel's location is still great, and when our first room's AC failed, they quickly moved us to another room. We appreciated that, as well as the free parking they gave us. We've been coming to Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa for years, and it's sadly starting to show its age. Our rooms weren't ready at check-in, apparently because housekeeping was short staffed. Since it was raining and we were stuck inside with the kids, we ate at the hotel restaurant. The property needs renovations and updates to match its prices.

The location was the best part, and the sand was amazing. The pools were nice, too. Rooms were small, with very small double beds, and the updates seem to have left them lacking in functionality. Service was mostly good, though it took a few hours to get the microwave we needed. We registered for beach yoga but were disappointed not to get towels at the end. Everything from chair rentals to drinks is very expensive. Bring your own beach gear if you want to save money, and you can get closer to the water.
