Breakfast was delicious every day, and the view was great. Clearwater Beach was only about 10 minutes away, too. After a terrible stay at our previous hotel, we drove all the way from Lake City, FL, following a nine-hour drive, and were so glad we came here. The front desk associate was sweet and made things easy for us. Our room was spacious and clean, with plenty of room to relax and feel at home. We loved the hotel from check-in to checkout and can't wait to return.

The room was tidy and clean, with a great bed, and the location was convenient for Morgan Plant hospital. I found the daytime staff less welcoming, though. They mostly chatted among themselves instead of being friendly to guests, and the in-room desk phones didn't work for contacting the front desk. Even so, it was a good place to stay.

The breakfast was great, and we felt safe. There were no unpleasant smells, either. But there were too many maintenance and service problems for us to come back, especially with so many other options nearby for the price. The shower dripped all night, the air conditioning was very loud, and the toilet was stained. Toilet paper felt like tissue paper. The oven had no mitts, and getting ice meant waiting over 12 hours for the ice maker or walking back to the front desk yourself. It felt like this hotel had once been much nicer.

We had such a good stay that we're already planning to come back for a Clearwater vacation. I was there for work this time, and loved the beautiful room, comfortable bed, and tasty breakfast. The staff were great, and the location worked really well.

Selina at the front desk was so helpful with a reservation problem. She patiently checked all the details and explained what was going on, and her kind, efficient approach got everything sorted quickly. Her professionalism and positive attitude made a real difference to my stay.
