Hampton Inn & Suites Cleburne

We stayed on 11-7-25 in an accessible room. It had a large bathroom, though the tub still required stepping over and the toilet seat was high. The bed was low and soft, almost like sleeping on the floor. The room itself was spacious, with the heat and AC controls on the wall. Breakfast had lots of choices and was good, and the lobby was very nice.

We were moved up to the 3rd floor after my husband spoke to the desk, but that room smelled of mold too. They said several people had complained about the second floor, which makes you wonder. The odor was stronger in our room than out in the hall, even though the air was blasting and they’d used odor removing spray. After about 20 minutes my severe mold allergy started acting up. I love Hilton Express Hotels, but something here is causing a mold problem, and it flared my allergies and ruined the trip.

It was 11 at night when we arrived with our three small kids, and we’d booked online after telling customer service we needed a couch and two queen beds. The woman at the front wouldn’t accommodate that, so now one of our children has to sleep on the floor. This was our first time at a Hampton, and it’ll be our last. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or book here.

After 14 hours on the road, it was such a relief to arrive and find everything ready. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff had things prepared for us. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was the best. We’re ready for the next 8 hour drive.
