Holiday Inn Express Winston Salem Sw Clemmons

The housekeeping team really stood out during my stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Winston-Salem SW – Clemmons. My room was spotless everywhere, from the floors and bathroom to the linens, and it all felt fresh and cared for. You can tell the staff takes pride in the details. The hotel was modern, quiet, and welcoming too. It’s one of the cleanest, best-run places I’ve stayed, and I’d happily return or recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This was my fourth stay with this hotel chain, and I usually choose this hotel when I’m in Clemmons. The location works well for business or leisure, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The indoor pool and decent gym are nice, and breakfast is usually good and well stocked. This visit had a few room issues. There was a shoe print on the sheet, as if someone had walked on it or stood on the bed with shoes on. The area under the bathroom sink could have been cleaned more carefully. The air conditioner handled heating, cooling, and fan functions perfectly, but made an intermittent buzzing noise. I told the front desk, and nothing was done.

I paid $200 and expected better service. The Wi-Fi never worked during my stay, despite contacting the front desk multiple times. I spent hours trying to fix it, disconnecting and forgetting the network more than 20 times. They even gave me a code, but it didn’t work either. At $80 for one night, I might feel differently, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to business travelers or online students.

The people here are easily the nicest part of an already great hotel. Theresa Frye and Cassandra Tate were fantastic, and I wish I could name everyone. It’s clean and quiet, the rates are fair, and the location is good, with several restaurants within walking distance. This was my second stay in the past year, for three nights, and it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in every way. I look forward to coming back and highly recommend it.
