The front desk staff were really pleasant, and breakfast was good. We didn’t need a microwave this time, though that was the one thing missing. We’ll stay again when we come to visit family.

My room was a mess when I checked in: there was tape and string left from previous guests’ decorations, a Q-tip under the nightstand, used tissues under the desk chair, and a sock by the bed. The building also seemed run-down, with several things, including doors, not working properly. As someone who travels often for business, this was one of my least satisfactory recent stays.

The room was about 200 yards from the parking lot, which was a strange setup for a hotel. For what we paid, it was terrible. The bed was comfortable and the water got very hot, but there was nowhere to hang clothes, not even a hook. The shower had dirt and hair, some fixtures were broken, and a few lights were just bare bulbs. The AC and fridge both made loud noises all night.

I wouldn’t stay here again, though I’m grateful to the employees who tried to help. James, who I believe was the Assistant Manager, was extremely accommodating and helpful. Two other men, one shorter with a low cut and the other an older gentleman, also gave excellent service. Their care was the only reason this review isn’t lower. The food was decent, too. The facility itself was a letdown during my conference stay. The first room wasn’t clean: a full garbage bag was left by the ice machine, and debris on the floor wasn’t cleared until around lunchtime the next day. I was moved to another room with noticeable stains on the couch, then moved once more because that room was a complete Wifi dead zone. Heating and AC problems in one of the trade show areas also made parts of the event uncomfortable.
