Super 8 by Wyndham Cleveland TX

The room was clean and comfortable, and there's a Walmart and other food options nearby. The woman at the desk was really nice and did what she could to make my stay pleasant. I'd stay here again next time I'm passing through Cleveland.

The bed and air conditioning were superb during my last stay. Walmart, Taco Bell, and McDonald's are within walking distance. Neeta is a good person and puts a lot of effort into doing a great job at the hotel.

I arrived at 2 in the morning and the folks met me at the door. They were so nice, and I can't say enough about them or the place they're running. It's close to Walmart and places to eat. Thanks so much for having me. I'll come back whenever I'm in the area.

We'd been driving for two days without stopping to rest, and after getting all our things inside, we were forced out. We had nowhere to go and might have had to sleep in our vehicle in an unfamiliar area. The family running the business was extremely rude. They overcharged us by well over $100 compared with the quote, then threatened to call police when we said we didn't want to leave. We asked to change rooms because we were exhausted and willing to stay elsewhere in the hotel, but they didn't offer that option. The woman just said, “you’re unhappy, leave.” The room smelled funny, and cockroaches were crawling out of the nightstand drawers. They said the bugs would be moving around because they'd sprayed a few days earlier, which didn't make us feel better about needing exterminators. They also blamed guests for bringing roaches in. In the lobby, there was a small bird in a tiny cage without room to stretch its wings. Our stay was very, very short and horrendous.
