The people were nice, though check-in was strange. After a three-day stay, the maid still made no effort to clean the room or bring towels. I had to practically beg for service. Other than that, it was an okay place.

The restaurant service was painfully slow and inattentive, though the staff were nice. The food was okay and fairly priced. At the motel, my room had been cleaned, with no hair, dust, or bugs, but it was very outdated; the TV didn’t work and the refrigerator was unplugged. We arrived exhausted, but were first given an unready room, then left standing with my kid and dog while they looked for a clean one. They also had trouble getting me the right key. I might come back in a pinch, but wouldn’t recommend it for a casual stay.

We’re a family of six and would stay here again. It’s a small, comfortable place for an overnight stop, with clean rooms, no roaches, and nice staff. There’s no coffee maker or special amenities, but the TV had some good channels. The restaurant is an easy walk away, and the food is great.

Mamacitas is right in front of the motel, and its bar and grill serves a huge variety of food and drinks. The front desk is inside there. Sandra, the manager, is attentive, reasonable, and prompt, and the rest of the staff are super friendly. The rooms are spacious and cleaner and better quality than you might expect for the low price. They have updated flat-screen TVs with lots of channels, a mini fridge, microwave, and heater/air conditioner. Some rooms also have a couch, depending on the size you booked. The property is quiet and tucked away from city life, a nice little getaway. I highly recommend it if you want something affordable, simple, and peaceful.

Mamacita's Restaurant is awesome, with delicious food. The Mamacita's Nachos are loaded with goodness, and the staff are friendly and professional. The managers are easy to talk to. At the motel, the rooms are a good size and have a fridge and microwave, and the staff are great. Pets require a $50 deposit, which isn’t too bad since it helps ensure things stay clean and nothing gets scratched or broken. You get it back when you check out. I absolutely recommend the Cotton Valley Motel if you need a place to stay on your way somewhere.
