The Cabins at Cloudcroft

This cool little cabin has vintage style throughout, from the classic kitchen appliances to the mint-green towels. We stayed in a king suite with a separate bedroom as well as the main space. All the shops off Burro are walkable. When my partner got sick, management let us check out late even though they were at capacity. I'm really grateful for their hospitality. Two thumbs up!

For my first trip to the United States, I picked this cabin. It felt nostalgic even though it was my first stay there, and it was very clean. I could relax watching the fireplace, and I felt the owners had put thought into many things. I definitely want to stay again.

Cabin 11 was cozy, but small, really suited to one or two people. They provide firewood if you want to use the fire, and there's a heater too. It's a great getaway. The couch was more comfortable to sleep on than the bed, though. My back hurts more from that bed than it does from the hiking trails.

You can see deer every evening, and the place was clean. The owner is very nice. There was a little noise from construction as they improved some of the other cabins, but the drive up was well worth it.
