Best Western Clovis Cole

I ended up having work book me at another hotel for the rest of my week-long training trip because this stay was so disappointing. My bed had hair on it, the bathroom wasn't clean, the shower leaked onto the floor, and the door didn't lock properly. That last issue felt like a serious safety concern with thousands of dollars' worth of work equipment in my room. The parking lot also felt unsafe, with intoxicated people coming over from a nearby bar. Breakfast was disgusting, the coffee was stale and machine-made, and they don't clean rooms unless you ask. The one good thing was that the front desk receptionist I spoke to briefly was polite.

James was so kind and accommodating during our last stay, and the staff are awesome. You can walk to antiques, food, and seasonal fairs from here. The rooms are still clean and nice, though they could use some updates down the road. There's always room to improve, so that's the only reason I didn't give a perfect rating. For me, it's a 9 out of 10 hotel.

They overcharged us after making a mistake, then refused to fix it. James is dishonest and sketchy, and they ignored my emails and calls. The customer service was HORRIBLE. I'm embarrassed to see the Best Western name tarnished this way. If I were Corporate, I'd cut them loose. I'd give zero stars if I could.

They accommodated our late arrival at midnight, and it was quiet. The hotel could use an update, but it was decent. I'd stay here again.
