We'd stayed here a few times while visiting family because the Clovis location is convenient, the breakfast is good, and the rooms are large with a refrigerator, dishwasher, and dishes. This last visit will likely be our final one. There was mold in the coffee pot again, dirty laundry in a dresser drawer, including underwear, and someone else's trash left in the microwave. The second bed's frame was smashed and collapsed, leaving it uneven, so our daughter had to squeeze into bed with my wife and me. Both beds' linens smelled like cigarettes and feet and clearly hadn't been changed since the last guest. The outlets next to the broken bed didn't work either. We arrived late and just wanted to rest, but the front desk was empty. A scruffy-looking guy was on his phone at the breakfast tables and didn't seem to work there; eventually a woman appeared, checked me in, then quickly left down the hall with him, leaving the desk unattended again. We thought changing rooms would be too much trouble with nobody at the desk. The elevator has been out since July, and by December it looked like they had no plan to repair it. There was no manager on weekends. After I called the front desk the next morning, they offered points for a place I won't stay at again. The rooms don't seem to get much attention for cleanliness or maintenance. Don't get burned, stay somewhere else while they sort this out. I have no kind words for this place or its staff.

The breakfast was quite good, and the room had plenty of space to spread out, with a small kitchenette and a very nice work area. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I'd recommend Home 2 in Clovis for work trips or families with kids.

Home2 is always my first choice when we travel, ahead of other hotels. We've never been disappointed with a stay. Thanks for being kind and making things comfortable.

I went five days without housekeeping, though breakfast was complimentary and started at 5:45 AM each day, which helped with early mornings. The staff were friendly, helpful, and ready to assist, and the newer property had appliances and amenities in good working order. It's a handy, dependable choice for business trips. One thing I noticed, as at other H2S locations I've visited, is the Danby refrigerator's knocking noise. In the middle of the night it can sound like someone's at the door and feel unsettling. H2S places get a lot of use, so I hope the amenities hold up over time.
