Coahoma Inn

The room was comfortable, clean, cool, and didn't have a bad smell. Even the shower was spotless. The owners were the sweetest people, and the service was great. They made sure I felt safe and that my truck was secure, and the price was very reasonable compared with other hotels I've paid more for. I drive trucks, and the owner offered to let me park in his lot. I'm grateful they let me stay that day, and I'd definitely return if I needed to.

The town doesn't have much, though there's a diner that's closed on weekends and a DQ. Big Springs, about 10 miles away, has the rest. For us, Coahoma Inn was a great overnight stop on our cross-country drive along I-20, right between our other stops. We called the owner around midday from the road to reserve a room, and he was pleasant and had one ready when we arrived. Check-in was easy, with parking about 20 steps from our room. The room was spacious enough, very clean, and comfortable, with good AC and TV, plus a working microwave and fridge. The owner went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and was very pleasant to talk with. We'll stop here again next time we're on I-20. We stayed for two nights, on August 2, 2024.

Staying here actually made me enjoy my job. The rooms are kept clean, and the owners have such a kind attitude and hospitality that reminded me of my grandparents' love. Prices are amazingly low, and there's fast Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and some nice beverages. I'd definitely come back.

We slept really well here, which is unusual for us in hotels. The bed was comfortable and warm even with the weather in the low 20s, and our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, warm, and well kept. It had a TV, a large mini fridge, and a microwave. The owners were kind and helpful, and the front office offered water and drinks, with some cereal available too. They also offered turn-down service. It was convenient and incredibly affordable, and we'll definitely stay at Coahoma Inn again.
