The breakfast had protein, which saved us time and money, and the beds turned out to be comfortable. I liked the smaller pillows, and there were two per person, plus three layers of bedding to choose from. We’d nearly skipped this place after reading complaints about the beds and seeing breakfast photos that made it look like all sugar and carbs, but those worries didn’t match our stay. We were running late and had planned to stay in a different area. The pool and hot tub looked nice, and they NEVER CLOSE, so I wish we’d packed swimsuits. We make this trip every two months and will try to stop here next time, with better planning. Coming with a trailer? Call ahead, since there are only a couple of spots that can fit one.

There isn’t much around here, but we usually stay when we’re in town for work. The rooms are clean, and there’s a pool and hot tub. Breakfast is free in the morning, and the gas station convenience store is right next door. Not a bad hotel.
I was really impressed by the staff, and the grounds were lovely and tidy. The room was neat and clean, and there was plenty of space outside for the dog to wiggle around. The bath tap dripped all night, which got annoying, and the shower had only a tiny sliver between hot and cold. Those things were pretty minor, all considered. I’m sure they’d have moved me if I’d complained, but I was exhausted and already unpacked, so I couldn’t face changing rooms.
The location is great, and the rooms were clean, though the beds were just average. Breakfast was disappointing, with fake powdered eggs and yogurt from a dispenser. Mark (the manager) was a complete jerk about a guest complaint. The way he dealt with it showed me he has no business being in the hospitality industry.
The room was only semi-clean. The vanity sink wouldn’t drain, the toilet was dirty, and the beds weren’t very comfortable. The woman at check-in was really rude, too. The power outage wasn’t their fault, but without lights we couldn’t see well enough to use the shower. The price is high for the room, and I probably wouldn’t stay again.
