Anthony's on the Beach

The view was incredible, and there were several places to sit or catch some sun. Anthony’s was spotless, and Leon made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I’d absolutely recommend it. If I could, I’d give it ten stars.

You get your own beach access just 50 feet away, with enough distance to feel like the beach is yours, yet food choices are only a five-minute drive. Our room was clean and recently updated, too. Couldn’t ask for a better location!

We were headed to the port for a cruise, but honestly could have stayed at the motel the whole time and been happy. The room was a little small, yet the stay was great. For the price, I hadn’t expected the beach location, comfortable decks and patios, swings, or views. It was quiet and relaxing, with little beach traffic, probably because of the tropical season when we visited. We’re planning to return to visit Coca Beach and its Vice City kind of vibe.

This was a complete disgrace. We paid €150 in advance through Booking.com, but the hotel looked nothing like the photos. It seemed abandoned, with people smoking drugs in the parking lot, someone else having a barbecue, and no sea view at all. The place was run down, and when we arrived after dark at 6 pm, the room had no light and smelled horrible. We had to use our phones to see. The lamp was broken, the sheets were yellow, and the duvet was stained. It didn’t feel fit to be a hotel, more like a homeless shelter. My wife wouldn’t sleep there, so we left and found another hotel. It cost more, but that’s Florida, and at least we didn’t risk catching a skin disease or something. I’m taking legal action with Booking.com to get a refund. Mr. Manager, this is not a fake review. It’s about the night of December 26-27 /2025.
