Beach Place Guesthouses

Mary was a wonderful host, kind and welcoming, and made sure everything was right. Beach Place Guest House had everything we needed and truly felt like home. The rooms were dark enough for great sleep, and the whole area was quiet, with incredible views. The Crystal Garden felt healing, and relaxing in the hammocks was perfect. My wife and I fell asleep to the ocean waves overlooking the private beach. It’s a great place, and we’ll definitely return, though the peaceful views almost make me want to keep it a secret.

I’d strongly recommend against booking here. The place felt old and run down, with cheap looking updates and secondhand items. There was dust on the walls, which I assume came from the nasty air ducts, and I could only hope there wasn’t black mold. The complimentary items were old and gross, the well-used beach chairs and rusty things didn’t help, and the back patio was disappointing. It felt like a waste of money. I’d give it less than one star if I could.

The staff were friendly, and we had great views from this beautiful location. The beach is about 100 yards from the back deck. One evening, while we were out there, we saw a Space X launch from Cape Canaveral.

We checked in for five nights but left first thing the next morning, and luckily found somewhere else to stay. The place was uncomfortable, dark, dingy, and so run down. Traffic from the street was noisy. Don’t be fooled by the photos or online reviews.
