Ocean Landings Resort

We were put in a room that needed smoke remediation, and they wanted to charge extra for the ocean view even though we'd been quoted a price for one. When we saw the room's condition, we were ready to leave, but they said it was all they had and wouldn't refund us until I said I'd paid by credit card and would dispute the charge. Suddenly an emergency room opened up. It faced the ocean but the view was only of mangroves. It wasn't well maintained, though it didn't reek of smoke. The dryer vent seems to connect to the bathroom vent and light, so lint and dead bugs blew all over the bathroom. My husband got lint in his eye. I wouldn't recommend this place. It feels like an aging timeshare that corporate is about to dump or bulldoze for the land.

My fiance and I have been coming here together for the past three years, and her family has been visiting for decades. It's such a cozy, amazing place, with lots of friendly guests and wonderful staff. The rooms are great if you like an old school aesthetic. Highly recommend!

It's an older place, and the bed wasn't very comfortable, though the room looked recently remodeled. The small kitchenette is handy for snacks and reheating leftovers, and there are different activities to keep the family busy. The beach is easy to get to from here.

We stayed just one night and didn't use the services, but the front desk staff were pleasant and helpful with my questions. It's about a five-minute walk to the beach. Our older place had been updated as much as possible, and our room was very clean. The beds, pillows, and blankets were comfortable, the hot water came almost instantly, and we had a coffeemaker, small microwave, little fridge with freezer, and a table with two chairs. I was happy with Ocean landings. In May we stayed at a named hotel chain and paid more than at Ocean, but the floors there didn't seem mopped, the shower drain had hair in it, and the pillows were lumpy.
