Lake Palestine Motor Inn

The wall AC/Heater had a bad smell, so I got Lysol spray from the office, but it didn’t fix it. Now the clothes in my suitcase smell like wet dog 🤨. The hotel is older and basic, functional but not nice.

I’ve stayed here a few times with a crazy female friend of mine, and on my last few visits a young housekeeping woman was extremely nice and helped me out each time. She worked hard and even gave me directions. I used to be in my silver Ford F-150, but now I have a house out here in Sunrise Shore's rt by the water, and I’m loving it. I can’t remember her name, but I want to thank her for all the help while I was staying there. Awesome employee. Ty very much and God bless you 🙏👑😇

I’ve stayed here for several days and have always felt safe, thanks to the law enforcement presence. I think they rent on the RV side. I also have a 10x20 storage there. The rooms are clean and the staff is great. My nose is sensitive, so it took me about an hour to get used to the cleaning products, but that’s not the worst problem to have.

The dock behind the motel is a great spot for lake sunset views. Brian and Dawn are always welcoming and helpful, too. The place is pet friendly, with grills available and lots of channels. The AC works great, and room service comes every day.
