The Red Lion Inn

Andy, the night manager, was so nice and helpful, and made sure we had a great stay. The room was amazing, too. This hotel has delicious food and a romantic charm, a real hidden gem. We'll definitely stay here again.

My husband and I spent two nights at The Red Lion Inn, in the bridal suite for our rehearsal dinner and wedding night. Our friends and family filled the other rooms. Even with the inn's history, all the rooms were well kept, spacious, and really comfortable. The bridal suite had great extras, including a large jacuzzi and private elevator access, and we felt we had plenty of privacy and time to relax. Andrew and the rest of the staff made everything easy and enjoyable from booking through checkout. We had a great experience and are looking forward to coming back each year for our anniversary.

Our guests kept telling us how delicious the food was, and there was something on the menu for everybody. The kitchen and serving staff did a wonderful job. The bartenders were quick, accommodating, and lovely to have with us at both the rehearsal dinner and wedding. We got to know them over the weekend. Krystel was such a gift during planning. She replied quickly, confirmed changes, and offered great suggestions whenever I was unsure. On the wedding day she kept everything on schedule and checked in with my husband and me to make sure we had what we wanted. She even helped the groomsmen with their boutonnières. After the ceremony, while we were in our suite signing the marriage papers, she brought up a plate of our hor doeuvres and our signature drinks so we'd remember to eat. She also recorded part of our final private dance, and that video means a lot to us. The Hillside House was a great place for everyone to spread out at the rehearsal dinner the night before, and dropping off decorations was seamless. We didn't meet Toufik until the wedding day, and I wish we'd known him sooner. He clearly wanted it to be the best day of our lives, kept our drinks and plates full, and checked often on my grandfather, who has special needs, to see that he had what he needed. The Barn was changed into a reception room so quickly after the ceremony. The setup team worked fast and placed all our table decorations just as we wanted. We are grateful to everyone working behind the scenes. Andrew and Nancy at The Inn made room reservations and check-in easy for everyone. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding at The Red Lion Inn. The team cared about our wedding dreams and did everything they could to accommodate us. They made our fairytale wedding real, and we're forever grateful. ❤️

The Barn was beautifully set up after the ceremony, and I only had to drop off the decorations the day before. Everything was ready on time. The food was incredible, and we heard so many compliments from guests. Some even said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. Krystel coordinated the wedding and went above and beyond. From our first meeting through a year of planning and many emails, she replied promptly and helped us make decisions. Toufik made sure we had drinks and plenty of appetizers during cocktail hour, and saved some uneaten, uncut cake for us to take home the next day. Andrew, the Innkeeper, was responsive and helpful in placing our many out-of-town guests in rooms. Our room that night was beautiful and had everything we might need. We couldn't have been happier with our August wedding at the Red Lion Inn. We highly recommend it and can't wait to stay there for our first anniversary.
