A few months ago, after a long trip to the East Coast, there was a reservation problem that was my fault. The manager kindly found a way to help us so we wouldn't lose our points, and I really appreciated it. We stay here whenever we're passing through Kansas because the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice, and we appreciate the small things too, like good toilet paper and tissues. It's a great place to stay.

Catie at the Sleep Inn in Colby, Kansas, helped our family right away when we arrived from the road. Our daughter needs care around the clock, and her life-saving treatment couldn't wait. Catie had compassion, urgency, and professionalism. She got us checked in immediately, made sure the room was ready, and helped us feel comfortable. The room was spotless and just right for what we needed. After a long day of travel and caring for our little one, that understanding meant a lot. I'd nominate Catie for management if I could. She's a wonderful example of hospitality, and Sleep Inn is lucky to have her.

The room was clean and the shower worked, but breakfast was blah and this was the worst night of our two-week trip. The AC wouldn't cool the room enough to sleep, so we opened the window and had to put up with noise and light from the first floor. We only figured out how to use the TV after calling the front desk. I might have mentioned the AC when leaving, but nobody was at the desk.

For $150, this was disappointing and overpriced. The elevator floor was filthy, covered in wrappers and spilled liquid, and our hallway carpet was dirty with a musty, old smell. The room was adequate, but the bathroom looked very dated. Breakfast was okay.
