The rooms are spacious, and some even have an upstairs loft, which I really liked. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile, and the Tuesday overnight front desk guy, working 9 pm to 7 am, was especially kind. I had an issue in my room, but the desk got to work on it right away. The hotel supports homeless communities, and honestly, it was cleaner and better than many Hilton hotels. The staff felt friendlier too. Definitely recommend it 👌.

The bed was comfortable, and we had hot water during our two-night stay. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was okay, with waffles, apples, bagels, coffee, and other basics. Still, I didn't feel safe with the people hanging around, and the room had a strange smell that never went away. We went to the Island Line Trail on the first morning, and housekeeping came in, which was fine, but some personal belongings were moved around, including jewelry, work phones, and clothes. My main concern was the people living there. Recent reviews make it sound like a homeless shelter. For that high price, it wasn't worth it.

The location is good, parking is plentiful, and the staff were professional, friendly, and attentive. It was clean enough, and the WiFi worked okay. Beyond that, the place felt worn down and poorly maintained. The floors creaked, and the shower was so loud you could hear it throughout the room. Pool hours were very limited, and the vending area had just one soda machine, which was sold out. Breakfast was a joke, with no extra perks either. For the price I expected more, or else I'd expect a rate under $100 a night. Nothing awful, but nothing especially good.

This place works well for me since I'm careful with money and don't need anything fancy. I've stayed twice, and the clean rooms and affordable price matter more to me than the dated decor, which has a bit of retro charm. We always book a room with the spa bath so we can unwind with wine, and the bath and toiletries have been clean each time. The staff are friendly and helpful, the pool is kept at a nice temperature, and the continental breakfast is as described. I'd recommend it and come back.

Breakfast was just nasty banana nut muffins and apples, so calling it continental is a stretch. I found cockroaches in the room, but there were no vacant rooms to move me to, and management refused to refund anything, including the $20 pet fee for my dog. The balcony screen door had come off and was left sitting outside, the tub felt like it might fall through the floor, and the shower curtain had been ripped from the wall and put back up crookedly, like a kid had done it. It wasn't worth the cost. I'd never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Stay at your own risk.
