I got a nice room with two beds in the end, and the stay itself was good enough that I’d come back. The room was very clean, cleaner than many chain hotels I’ve used, and there were plenty of vacancies when I arrived around 11 PM. The evening check-in was the rough part. The clerk barely spoke, didn’t greet me, and just stared from behind the glass. After I asked about vacancies, he requested my ID and credit card, charged me, then went behind the curtain. I asked whether the room had two beds since I was with my family. He said I’d told him it was just me, but we hadn’t discussed that before he walked away. He left again and came back seeming annoyed. Maybe he was having a bad night, but I wish he’d been as friendly as the other people I’ve met around here.

I travel around Texas a lot for my real estate work, and this has been the cleanest, most comfortable place I’ve found in this area. I’d definitely stay at Coleman Inn again, and highly recommend it.

I’m always looking for vintage motels that are well kept and good value, and this one has moved to the top of my list. It’s spotless and in mint condition. The husband and wife who run it are so warm and welcoming, true hospitality.

Our car’s turbo gave out, leaving us three hours from home while it was being repaired, so we stayed here for three nights. The good prices, comfortable rooms, and really friendly staff were a bright spot in an otherwise lousy situation. I’d recommend it if you’re passing through on a road trip or end up broken down nearby.

We’ve stayed at The Coleman Inn many times over the years, and this visit was just as good as the others. The room was updated and super clean, the staff were nice, and the location was quiet. Great value. We’ll be back on our next trip to Coleman. Thanks!
